A video circulating online has raised alarms about the welfare of a young girl in Warri, Delta State.
The footage shows a girl, appearing to be no older than 10 years old, trapped in a narrow gap in a wooden door, with her head on one side and her body on the other.
The child is seen crying and turning her head from side to side, seemingly trying to find a way to alleviate her discomfort.
Neighbors can be heard discussing the incident while filming the scene.
Human rights advocate Harrison Gwamnishu shared the video, alleging that the girl’s father was responsible for placing her in this position.
He also mentioned that efforts are underway to rescue the child.
