Detectives have uncovered a chilling handwritten note revealing the premeditated plan of a Kenyan man to murder his estranged wife.

According to reports, Juma Hannis Shimano allegedly stabbed his wife, Winnie Akhalusa, to death before ingesting rat poison and slashing his throat. The couple had separated just a week before the tragic event.

Juma is said to have traveled from Nairobi to Winnie’s parents’ home in Nandi County, where he killed her in the kitchen.

A blood-soaked note found at the scene outlined the items needed for the crime, a detailed attack strategy, and plans to cover up the murder. The discovery has shocked the community, as the nation grapples with the heartbreaking incident.

In the days leading up to the murder, Juma posted an unsettling update on Facebook, showing a photo of himself with his wife. The post read: “Stop asking me about my wife. Here she is; I have revealed her and am not scared of losing her. Respect the OGs.”

Witnesses and investigators suggest that tensions between the couple had been building for some time, although the specific cause of their dispute remains unclear.

The situation escalated on January 16, when a domestic argument turned violent. Residents of Kibwareng village, Juma’s hometown, were left in shock as the grim details emerged.

The couple, once seemingly happy, now leave behind children who are left orphaned by this tragic event.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the murder. According to reports, Winnie’s father was with the children when he was alerted to a problem in the kitchen. Upon entering, he found his daughter stabbed in the neck and back, with blood flowing from her body.

Juma allegedly threw the children’s birth certificate at the elderly man before a struggle ensued as he attempted to stop the attack. Winnie reportedly cried out to her father, saying her husband had killed her before she passed away.
