Paris Hilton has joined the growing list of celebrities affected by the devastating Palisades Fire, which has ravaged the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The heiress and entrepreneur confirmed the loss of her Malibu beachfront home in an emotional social media post. “Heartbroken beyond words. Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burned to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience,” Hilton, 43, wrote while sharing news footage of the destruction.
Reflecting on the memories tied to the property, Hilton expressed the special significance of the home for her family, particularly her two young children. “This home was where we built so many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London,” she shared.
Despite the overwhelming loss, Hilton expressed gratitude for her family’s safety. “While the loss is overwhelming, I’m holding onto gratitude that my family is safe. My heart and prayers go out to every family affected by these fires. To those who have lost their homes, their memories, and their beloved pets—my heart aches for you,” she wrote, also expressing concern for those still in danger or mourning greater losses.
The Malibu property was not Hilton’s primary residence, as the “Cooking with Paris” star owns multiple homes across Los Angeles.
The Palisades Fire, which began Tuesday morning, quickly spread across more than 2,900 acres, forcing tens of thousands of residents to evacuate. Strong winds exceeding 100 miles per hour further fueled the flames, leaving widespread devastation in their wake.
Hilton is not alone in her loss. Celebrities including Mark Hamill, Ben Affleck, Jamie Lee Curtis, Eugene Levy, and Mandy Moore have evacuated their homes, while others like Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, James Woods, Adam Brody, and Leighton Meester have reportedly lost their properties to the fires.
