‘I Know What Happens To Us When We Die’ – ‘World’s Smartest Man,’ With IQ Higher Than Einstein Reveals

Chris Langan, often referred to as the “smartest man in the world,” has offered his perspective on what happens when we die. With an IQ reportedly ranging between 190 and 210—surpassing that of Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking—Langan suggests that death is not the end.

The U.S. rancher and creator of the Cognitive-Theoretic Model of the Universe (CTMU) believes reality is a “self-simulation.” According to him, this concept, which he describes as “mathematical metaphysics,” can mathematically prove the existence of God, the soul, and an afterlife, as reported by The Mirror.

The CTMU proposes that reality functions as a “self-configuring, self-processing language.” Langan theorizes that death represents a shift in the “syntax” of existence, likening it to transitioning into another dimension—an idea often associated with the concept of an afterlife.

Speaking on the Theories of Everything podcast with Curt Jaimungal, Langan described death as the separation from the physical body rather than an end to existence.

“That’s the termination of your relationship with your current physical body,” he explained. “When you leave this reality, you return to the origin of reality. You might even be provided with a new form, another type of body that allows you to continue existing.”

Langan’s theory also suggests that transitioning into another dimension could result in forgetting one’s prior physical existence. Comparing it to a meditative state, he explained, “Your memories can be retrieved, but there’s usually no reason to hold onto them. Why cling to memories of a world where you no longer exist physically?”

He elaborated further: “At the moment of death, automatic psychological processes take place. It’s like entering a meditative state and observing everything transform. But in reality, you already exist in this way.”

Langan also proposed that all dimensions and lifetimes could coexist simultaneously. “If you were reincarnated repeatedly, all those lifetimes might occur in a meta-simultaneous manner in the non-terminal domain,” he said.

Describing death as akin to entering a supercomputer, Langan suggested it’s an experience of being immersed in everything and nothing at the same time.

Known for his groundbreaking theories, Langan believes his mathematical work points to the existence of God—not as a celestial figure, but as a definable essence present in the world around us.

Once listed in the Guinness Book of Records for his extraordinary intellect, Langan’s insights continue to challenge conventional thinking about life, death, and the nature of existence.
