Moment Russian Actress Swept To Her Death While Exercising On Yoga Mat

A 24-year-old Russian actress, Kamilla Belyatskaya, tragically lost her life after being swept away by a powerful wave while exercising on her yoga mat on Koh Samui, a popular tourist island in Thailand.

Kamilla was at the Lad Ko Viewpoint, overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, when the wave struck. She had been filming herself practicing yoga near the rocky coastline moments before the incident.

Distressing footage captured the moment a large wave engulfed Kamilla, pulling her into the turbulent waters. A bystander reportedly attempted a rescue but was unable to save her. Her yoga mat was later spotted floating in the rough seas.

Originally from Novosibirsk, Russia’s third-largest city, Kamilla was visiting Koh Samui with her boyfriend. She was known for her love of the island, which she frequently described on social media as her “home” and “the best place on earth.”

In a heartfelt post before the tragedy, Kamilla shared her joy: “I love Samui so much. But this place, this rocky beach, is the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Thank you, universe, for me being here right now. I’m very happy. I’m happy!”

Her boyfriend and eyewitnesses have provided statements to local authorities.

The incident highlights the risks associated with Thailand’s monsoon season. Authorities have issued warnings urging visitors to avoid rocky coastal areas during periods of high waves and exercise extreme caution.
