Meghan Markle had a fun night out with her closest friends in Los Angeles last week Thursday. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, attended the launch of a new haircare line created by her colorist Kadi Lee and business partner Myka Harris, held at Gjelina on Venice’s trendy Abbot Kinney Boulevard.

Looking stunning, Meghan wore a black bustier top paired with matching wide-legged trousers, heels, and delicate gold jewelry. She was seen enjoying the evening and even showing off her dance moves as a gospel choir performed at the event. The moment was captured by jeweller Maya Brenner.

While her husband, Prince Harry, wasn’t with her, Meghan was joined by her glam squad and close friends, including hairstylist Serge Normant and makeup artist Daniel Martin.

Serge, who styled Meghan’s bridal hair for her royal wedding, is credited with introducing her to Kadi Lee, the co-founder of Highbrow Hippie, a wellness and beauty salon in Venice.

Kadi, whose clients also include Julia Roberts, launched a line of haircare products, including supplements and a hair growth serum, with Meghan among the investors.

Speaking to InStyle magazine, Meghan praised her longtime friend, saying, “Kadi has a mastery of hair health, and her Highbrow Hippie collection is a perfect reflection of that. I am so proud to invest in her as a friend and as a female founder.”

Meghan’s LA friends frequently gather, with Kadi hosting a belated birthday lunch for her last summer. The Duchess is also working on her own lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. She teased the brand’s debut on Instagram in March, though an official launch date is yet to be announced.

Trademark filings for the brand include cookbooks, tableware, and a variety of food products such as jams, jellies, spreads, and butters, as well as beauty and wellness items like soaps, oils, and haircare.

Meghan gave fans a taste of what’s to come with American Riviera Orchard by sending out gift baskets featuring homemade jams branded with the logo. Before marrying Prince Harry in 2018, Meghan ran The Tig, a lifestyle website where she blogged about beauty, food, travel, and more.
