Gospel musician and preacher Cecilia Marfo recently shared her perspective on her approach to ministry, explaining why she avoids certain topics in her sermons.
In an interview with Fiifi Prat, Marfo, who has recently increased her focus on preaching, reflected on her spiritual journey and the many individuals she believes she has helped bring closer to God.
Celebrating her impact, Marfo expressed confidence in her preaching abilities, describing herself as a skilled and effective minister.
However, she emphasized that she deliberately avoids addressing certain issues, such as criticizing people’s clothing or condemning behaviors like prostitution and womanizing.
Marfo argued that focusing on such topics is unproductive, labeling it as “pure stupidity” to center sermons around judging others’ attire or personal choices. Instead, she prefers to focus on spreading messages of love and spiritual growth.
