A young man from North Carolina revealed during a live CNN interview that he cast his vote for Kamala Harris after his girlfriend threatened to break up with him if he didn’t.
The man shared his story shortly after voting in the presidential election between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
He explained, “I wasn’t going to vote at all until my girlfriend kept blowing up my phone telling me to go vote. If I didn’t, she said she would break up with me. So, here I am.”
When asked if his girlfriend was serious, he admitted, “No, I made that up—it’s funny to say that,” but he confirmed that she did ask him to vote for Harris.
He added, “I wasn’t going to vote at all. I was just going to stay home, eat some chips, or something. I don’t know.”
