Harry Styles has been named People magazine’s “s*xiest musician alive” for 2024, a decision that hasn’t sat well with the runner-up.

Singer Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Harrington Pillsbury, expressed his disappointment over Styles’s win, especially after launching a TikTok campaign to rally votes in his favor.

The winner was determined by readers and fans, but Role Model had plenty to say about finishing in second place.

In his Instagram Stories, he shared, “So this is my speech. Harry Styles has won ‘Sexiest Musician Alive.’ I was the runner-up. I heard about the vote counts — many of you supported me. But I want to address those who voted for Harry Styles. I hope you’re happy.”

He added, “I hope this makes your day, because guess what? His publicist probably won’t even mention this to him. He won’t even know about it.”

“That guy is probably in Fiji or somewhere. That’s how insignificant this is to him.”

He concluded with a message to People magazine: “You had a chance to really do something for the culture, to craft a beautiful ending to an underdog story, and you missed it.”
