Controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has reportedly been rushed to the hospital due to a rising body temperature, according to The Nation on Wednesday, October 23.
Bobrisky was arrested by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Seme Border on Monday.
Deputy Controller of Immigration Kenneth Udo, the Public Relations Officer of NIS, stated that Bobrisky was detained as a “person of interest” and was undergoing interrogation.
The publication was unable to confirm whether Okuneye would be taken to court or released once his health stabilizes.
A source within the NIS, who wished to remain anonymous, revealed that Okuneye was taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment after exhibiting symptoms that warranted medical attention.
Attempts to reach DCI Udo for an update on Okuneye’s health status were unsuccessful, as the NIS spokesman did not respond to calls or text messages.
