American actress Jennifer Aniston has officially dismissed rumors suggesting she had an affair with former US President Barack Obama.
The Friends star, 55, was recently linked to the married 63-year-old ex-president in a tabloid story that surfaced just weeks ago.
However, during her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night, Jennifer took the opportunity to set the record straight and refute the claims.
She shared, “Of all the calls you get from your publicist, where you think, ‘Oh no, what’s it going to be?’ or when you receive an email saying some cheesy tabloid is going to make up a story—and then it’s that…”
“I wasn’t upset about it; the story is ‘absolutely untrue.'”
Jimmy then confirmed, “So, the truth about Jen and Barack is that there’s no truth?”
Jennifer replied, “I’ve met him [Obama] once. I know Michelle better than him.”
Jokingly, Jimmy asked, “Is there a truth about you and Michelle?”
With a smile, she responded, “That is not true.”
The actress is currently not in a relationship. Barack and Michelle Obama have been married for 32 years and have two daughters, Malia, 26, and Sasha, 23.
