Video: “World War 3 Is On” Trends As Iranian Missiles Hit Tel Aviv, Bypassing Iron Dome Defenses

The phrase “World War 3 is on” has started trending on X after Iranian missiles struck Tel Aviv, with reports that Israel’s Iron Dome defense system failed to intercept some of the projectiles.

Massive explosions rocked areas near downtown Tel Aviv as Iran fired nearly 200 ballistic missiles at Israel. While air defenses were deployed, video footage shows that some missiles or fragments managed to penetrate the Iron Dome, hitting densely populated regions.

This has sparked widespread concern, leading many to speculate that these events could mark the onset of a global conflict.

Despite the barrage, Israeli medical services reported only two injuries so far. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard confirmed launching “tens of missiles” towards Israel, threatening further attacks if there is retaliation.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have advised citizens to stay in protected areas, explaining that the explosions heard were from intercepted or fallen projectiles. Israel’s army radio confirmed nearly 200 ballistic missiles had been launched from Iran.

Flights at Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport were suspended, and Jordan temporarily closed its airspace as a precaution.

Shortly before the strikes, the IDF issued a statement: “Missiles have been launched from Iran towards Israel. Remain alert and follow Home Front Command’s instructions. The IDF is committed to safeguarding civilians and will take all necessary measures.”
