On Tuesday, the Duchess of Edinburgh dazzled at a garden party held at Hillsborough Castle in Northern Ireland, where she was joined by her husband, Prince Edward.
At 59, Duchess Sophie looked elegant in a yellow Beulah London ‘Yahvi’ dress, featuring a crew neckline, cinched waist, and romantic bell sleeves.
This mid-length dress had special significance as it was the same one she wore during the King’s birthday parade in June, which was the Princess of Wales’ first public appearance after her announcement of undergoing preventative chemotherapy.
This week, the Princess of Wales revealed that her chemotherapy treatment has concluded.
To complement her bright dress, Duchess Sophie chose vibrant accessories. She added a cornflower blue coat from Suzannah London and a navy netted hat from Jane Taylor, which rested on her simple updo.
Her look was completed with Jimmy Choo’s ‘Rosalia 65 Ballet Pink Patent Pointed Pumps with Pearl Detail’ and an impressive pair of earrings – the ‘5.20cts Platinum Three Row Diamond Hoop Earrings’ from G. Collins & Sons, valued at £24,500.
The Duke and Duchess were the guests of honor at the Secretary of State’s Garden Party, where they engaged with individuals from Northern Ireland who have made notable contributions to their communities.
