Bobrisky took to Instagram to flaunt his connection with a powerful godfather who demands his protection at all costs.
He shared a video of himself walking to a car while men in suits sheltered him with umbrellas from the rain and opened the car door for him.
In the caption, he wrote: “When you have a godfather who says you all must protect my Queen.” The video was removed shortly after it was posted.
Earlier, Bobrisky had faced speculation about his influential connections.
In March 2024, Solomon Buchi questioned Bobrisky’s high-profile connections on X, suggesting he had support from figures in the police, judiciary, and politics, and asking, “Who is Bobrisky’s political godfather in Nigeria? Why is the Nigerian government seemingly a puppet to Bobrisky? If Bobrisky were poor, he would have been prosecuted long ago. Who’s covering for him?”
Bobrisky was later jailed for six months but was released after serving four months.
