Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has declared Real Madrid as the greatest football club in history.
Ronaldo, who joined the Spanish giants in the summer of 2009 for a then-record fee of £80 million, spent nine years at the club, making nearly 450 appearances. During his time there, he scored an incredible 450 goals and provided 131 assists.
He also secured four Champions League titles with Real Madrid, including three consecutive victories in the 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2017-18 seasons.
Recently, Ronaldo launched his YouTube channel, where he hosted an interview with his former Manchester United teammate, Rio Ferdinand.
When asked about Real Madrid, Ronaldo stated, “Real Madrid is the best club ever in history. I love Real Madrid. I was so happy to play there.”
He added, “I became the all-time top scorer at the club, and we won four Champions League titles. It was an absolute pleasure.”
