Switzerland has been named the ‘best country in the world,’ with 14 other European nations also making it into the top 25.

The rankings, released by U.S. News & World Report in its annual Best Countries list, show that European countries dominate the top 25, with four spots going to East and Southeast Asia, two to the Middle East, and two each to North America and Oceania.

According to Mail Online, the analysis, conducted in collaboration with marketing and communications firm WPP and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, surveyed over 17,000 people worldwide to evaluate nations based on power, agility, and cultural influence.

Switzerland, which has consistently topped the list since 2017, remains at the top due to strong performances in quality of life, entrepreneurship, and social purpose.

The top 10 also includes Canada, Australia, Sweden, Germany, the UK, New Zealand, and Denmark.

Countries ranked 11 to 25 are Norway, France, the Netherlands, Singapore, Italy, China, the UAE, South Korea, Spain, Finland, Austria, Iceland, Belgium, Ireland, and Qatar.
