Joe Alwyn was busy on the set of Hamnet in Hertfordshire on Friday, while his ex Taylor Swift took over his home city of London with back-to-back sell out shows at Wembley.
The actor, 33, who was raised in North London and famously dated the singer between 2016 and 2023, was wore a traditional costume while filming scenes for the Shakespearean drama.
He was dressed in a suede Elizabethan jacket and trousers along with knee-high boots while also sporting some stubble.
Meanwhile Jessie, 34, wore a long orange and red dress with her brunette tresses loose tumbling down her back.
Joe’s character is currently unknown while Jessie plays William Shakespeare’s wife Agnes alongside Paul Mescal, 28, as the famous playwright in a big-screen version of Maggie O’Farrell’s novel.
In the outdoors scenes the duo lovingly embraced with the actress wrapping her arms around Joe’s neck.
It comes just a day after Jessie was seen filming more passionate scenes with Paul as they kissed alongside their onscreen children on the same outdoor set.
