The couple is set to marry on August 31, and on Wednesday, they were seen sharing a tender moment aboard a large boat with the stunning Norwegian mountains in the background.
Alongside their photo, it was noted: “This week’s guest is Shaman Durek, Märtha Louise’s fiancé! They are getting married in Geiranger on August 31, and we invited him to join us for a nice chat about Shamanism, his journey, and of course, his love for Märtha Louise.”
Fans of the royal couple responded with enthusiastic comments. One fan wrote, “The wedding is going to be so amazing,” while another said, “What a fabulous couple.” A third added, “Can’t wait to listen to you beautiful people. Also looking forward to your love and wedding.”
In a heartfelt conversation on the Heartsmart Conversations Podcast, hosted by Märtha Louise and her two best friends, Durek spoke about his bride-to-be with great affection. He shared, “I’m a very different type of guy. I wake up every day feeling lucky to be with this amazing woman. I constantly tell her how beautiful and smart she is and how much of a gift she is to my life.”

He continued, fighting back tears, “What excites me is that I get to wake up every day with this beautiful woman, have dinner with her and her lovely children, and see her every day. Each time she walks through the door, I think, ‘She’s home.’”
Durek expressed his profound love, saying, “I feel so blessed to fall asleep holding this incredible woman whom I love with all my heart. She is my everything. It’s the greatest feeling to have that. Being close to her family and her kids makes my life complete.”
Reflecting on their engagement, he said, “I wouldn’t have asked for her hand in marriage if I didn’t truly believe in my soul that I was going to spend my life with her.”
Their wedding will be a lavish four-day event in Geiranger, a picturesque village surrounded by mountains at the head of a UNESCO-listed fjord. Durek remarked on the significance of the location, saying, “I have so much love for Norway. I admire its architecture and cherish my Norwegian friends deeply.”
