Sources close to the pair told TMZ that they amicably split in March after their relationship ran its course. The insiders also mentioned that the 28-year-old standup comedian has not been dating anyone new since the breakup.
Instead, he’s been focusing on his 2024 comedy tour, which is back on after he had to cancel his shows at Indiana University in May due to a last-minute medical emergency.
Rife and Lord, 25, began dating in June 2023, almost a year after they met in Mississippi in 2022. As Page Six reported at the time, Rife had ended his relationship with “Pretty Little Liars” alum Lucy Hale around the same time he started seeing the “Find Me in Paris” star.
Rife’s dating history includes “Underworld” star Kate Beckinsale, whom he dated when she was 43, and he was 21. In 2019, Rife described the relationship as “complicated” with “a lot of ups and downs.”
Last December, YouTuber Brooke Schofield detailed her difficult breakup with the “Natural Selection” star after discovering he allegedly cheated on her with 20 women. On Tana Mongeau’s “Cancelled” podcast, Schofield, 27, recounted being added to a group chat with the other women who dated Rife and comparing notes. She attempted to contact Rife to express her feelings but found that he had blocked her number.
“I just sent him a text, and I was like, ‘How embarrassing is it that I’m literally currently getting dragged for defending you while also in a group chat with seven other girlfriends you had?’ He blocked my f–king number. … Blocking me is so f–king crazy,” Schofield said.
