A female doctor in Bihar, East India, reportedly severed her boyfriend’s p*nis in an act of revenge after he failed to appear on their wedding day.
According to local reports, the 25-year-old medic carried out the attack on Monday. Her boyfriend, from Madhaura, was urgently transported to Patna Medical College and Hospital for treatment following the shocking incident.
The accused girlfriend expressed rage over her boyfriend repeatedly refusing to marry her despite their five-year relationship.
Mail Online reports that the couple had agreed to marry in court, but on the wedding day, the man did not show up at the appointed time.
After waiting for him at the court, she returned home and invited him over. Upon his arrival, unaware of her intentions, she allegedly used a knife to sever his penis.
Neighbors who heard his screams alerted the police, who found the severely injured man lying in a bed, surrounded by blood, when they arrived at the scene.
‘The woman is a 25-year-old unmarried doctor from Hajipur. She was doing practice in Madhaura. The victim is also unmarried,’ said the Station House Officer of Madhaura police station in Saran district. ‘We have arrested the accused and further investigation is underway,’ he added.
