A Nigerian individual narrowly escapes death after sustaining gunshot wounds and purportedly being refused medical treatment post-incident.

The survivor’s harrowing experience was recounted on X by his friend Alex Onyia, the Chief Executive Officer of Educare.

On Tuesday night, Onyia took to X to share the story of his friend Kene Nnadi, who narrowly evaded a fatal attack by assailants.

“All hospitals rejected him and were asking for police report before treatment him. We managed to get one that attended to him until we flew him to London.  Today, we thank God.”

Fredrick Kenechi Nnadi, identified as the victim, is a lawyer and an active member of the Peoples Democratic Party.

He ran as a candidate for the Enugu North Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly during the 2018 elections.

Subsequently, in 2022, Nnadi contested for the Enugu North and South Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
