A vicious brawl broke out on a Spirit Airlines flight just before it touched down in Boston, with the tussle caught on camera.
How it Started
Shortly after take-off, two men started having a loud shouting match, which then escalated into a physical fight as the plane touched down and passengers prepared to get off.Â
What Led to the Fight?
It wasn’t clear why they fight started, but a flight attendant was forced to use her arms as a shield to break them apart as they threw punches in the aisle.Â
The attendant holds out her arms to push them away from each other while they try to throw punches over her head.
One of the men then falls into a row of seats while the attendant climbs out of the way.Â
They Couldn’t Be Stopped
Other passengers yelled at them to stop it, but they continued punching each other on the seats.
Nicole Grome, who was on the flight with her parents, told Boston 25 News, ‘That poor flight attendant. She was doing her best.
‘She’s putting herself in a dangerous situation to protect everyone else on the flight.’
What Will Happen Now?
The two men involved have not yet been identified, but they have been banned from flying with Spirit Airlines again.
The flight departed from Myrtle Beach at 9:39 pm on Tuesday and landed just before midnight in Boston.
The plane had landed by the time the brawl began, so attendants were able to get everyone else off the plane.
