Royal enthusiasts were overjoyed on Friday as it was confirmed that King Charles would be resuming public duties following his cancer treatment.
To mark this momentous occasion, a fresh portrait of the King and Queen Camilla was unveiled on the royal family’s official social media channels.
The image captured the King affectionately gazing at his wife as they strolled through the gardens of Buckingham Palace. King Charles was attired in a smart grey suit, while Queen Camilla, gracefully linked arm-in-arm with her husband, exuded elegance in a stunning sapphire gown.
In response to the news, admirers flooded the comments section with expressions of delight over the King’s return and showered compliments on Queen Camilla for her unwavering support during the monarch’s illness, as well as her striking appearance in blue.

The monarch is scheduled to resume his royal obligations on Tuesday, joining Camilla on a visit to a cancer treatment center. During their visit, they will engage with medical professionals and patients alike.
Additionally, it has been affirmed that the King and Queen will extend a warm welcome to Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan for a state visit in late June, as per the Government’s request. Originally slated for 2020, the state visit was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
