Roger Hanks from Pennsylvania man has reportedly shot and killed his wife and daughter after they nagged him about gun safety at their mansion.
The 76-year-old was arrested at his home on Thursday evening and charged with first-degree murder.
At the Crime Scene
Police were called to the 200 block of Wiltshire Drive, where Hanks lived with his now deceased 75-year-old wife Judith, at around 6:15pm.
According to ABC, Hanks was taken into custody, and admitted that he had shot his wife Judith and daughter, Emily, 37.
How it Happened?
Hanks, who confessed he’d been drinking whiskey and beer earlier in the day, confessed that he had gotten into an argument with Judith while cleaning his gun and told her ‘if you keep up this thing is going to go off on you.’
Why He Killed His Wife
As the communication continued, he then allegedly pointed the gun at his wife and told her ‘if she did not shut and leave him alone that he was going to “plug” her,’ documents showed.Â

Then He Killed Daughter
When Judith fell to the ground after the gunshot, daughter Emily ‘went into a rage’, then Hanks pointed the gun at her and it went off again.
According to the affidavit, Hanks bragged to police that he is ‘the best of the best’ when it comes to shooting firearms and showed off about his frequent participation in competitions for shooting,
