Oscar Pistorius who was jailed seven years for the murder of his girlfriend has been released as his sentencing lasts and was seen grinning when he was on his way to his parole officer in Pretoria … it seems he’s really basking in his freedom.

Friends of Reeva Steenkamp have since told of their anger at seeing his smiling pictures of Oscar Pistorius ‘as if he hasn’t a care in the world’ while enjoying his freedom.
The disgraced former Paralympian, 37, appeared in public wearing sunglasses in the autumn sunshine despite being told to avoid not to be seen.

Now friends of the model who was shot by Pistorius as she cowered behind the bathroom door in the early hours of Valentine’s Day in 2013 today expressed their fury at seeing him enjoying his freedom.

Reeva’s friend Tania Koen told of her sorrow for Reeva’s mother June whose husband Barry died ‘from a broken heart’ last year.
Koen, who is also the Steenkamp family lawyer, added: ‘I feel sorry for June who is serving a life sentence. She will never get to see Reeva’s smile. Ever.’
Another friend of the murdered model, who asked not to be named, said: ‘It is very disturbing to see Pistorius smiling like he doesn’t have a care in the world.
‘If I could, I would wipe that smile off his face. I don’t know how he sleeps at night for what he did.’
