Nigerian dancer Korra Obidi RUSHED to hospital after a woman throw acid into her face, and knifed her

32-year-old Korra Obidi who appeared in the hit US series So You Think You Can Dance became a victim of an ‘acid attack’ while in London.

What Happened to Korra Obidi in London?

She was immediately admitted to hospital after the substance was reportedly thrown into her face.

The attacker brandished a knife and also slashed the hand of the Nigerian dancer.

How it Happened?

The incident occurred while she was in the middle of a livestream to fans, and she could be seen washing her face with Coca Cola.

Obidi could be heard saying to a nearby person: ‘My face is burning, can I have some Coke to wash it please?’

Obidi gave the news on Instagram: ‘Currently in an ambulance to the hospital, there was a knife, acid attack on me in the UK in the middle of a live stream. 

She continued: ‘There’s been a lot of hate in the past but this physical assault is a wake up call.

‘If you have any information as to the attacker, black female. 5 foot. please forward to [email protected].’

A yellow kitchen knife with what appears to be blood can be seen and an emergency responder attends to Obidi by spraying her with solution. 

Obidi later provided an update in the comments section by writing: ‘Guys I’m in the hospital. Safety with travel is no longer a luxury but [a] necessity. The acid was salicylic and I was lucky. Love you guys.’
