Rebel Wilson speaks amid reports her claims ‘WERE’ the catalyst for Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher break-up

Rebel Wilson who is dubbed the ‘catalyst’ by many has broken her silence just hours after Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher announced their split given claims that her statement against Sacha in her memoir is the ‘final straw’ that breaks his marriage.

What Sacha Did to Rebel

The Pitch Perfect star called the 52-year-old comedian an ‘a**hole’, claiming Sacha told her to strip off when filming scenes for the 2016 comedy The Brothers Grimsby.

Friends of the star couple confirmed the allegations were the final straw in the decision to make their split public. 

Rebel Breaks Her Silence

And now Rebel, 44, has taken to social media to share a video posing up a storm in a satin green dress, with the caption: ‘What a week!’ … perhaps it’s a swipe to the news so far.

Dressed in the glamorous wrap dress and recined on a sofa, Rebel stuck her tongue out. She captioned the snap: ‘What a week! I need a lie down on the couch now… for real! Thank you so much to everyone who has bought REBEL RISING and is already enjoying it! Love you’.

Rebel also shared a link on her story to her live show in Los Angeles where she will sit down for an ‘in person with conversation’ with Jess Cagle to discuss her controversial new memoir.

Is Rebel Rising Now Available?

After posting a link to to tickets for the show, the star also promoted her new book as she revealed that while the book is available to buy in the US, it isn’t quite ready for sale in the UK and Australia.

She wrote: ‘UK and AUS momentarily delayed by an a**hole but not for long.’

Sacha however denied ever mistreating Rebel or pressuring her to be naked in the film.
