An insider has disclosed that Meghan Markle considers the name of her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, to be “perfect” and “authentic”.
The Duchess of Sussex recently launched an Instagram account on March 14th to introduce her new venture, which, according to sources, will encompass her passions such as family, cooking, hosting, and home décor.
The account, which has garnered 544,000 followers as of March 19th, showcases a logo, a fresh crest, and a bio indicating “by Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex,” along with a link to a website where individuals can join a waiting list.
Meghan’s latest endeavor is said to coincide with the debut of a new cooking show on Netflix. A source close to the duchess has provided insight into why she selected ‘American Riviera Orchard’ as the brand’s name.
Allegedly, the name pays homage to Santa Barbara, the county where Meghan and Prince Harry reside, which has long been referred to as the ‘American Riviera’. Meghan reportedly believes it’s a “perfect” fit for her brand.
An Insider said: “Meghan finds the name American Riviera Orchard perfect. It feels authentic to her. She can’t wait for the website to launch. She is excited about her latest, personal venture. This is something she’s wanted to do for a while. She is excited to share her style and things that she loves.”
A PR expert criticized and labeled a detail on Meghan’s new Instagram page as a ‘foolish decision.’
