Sophie Guidolin, 34, has been slammed by her own fans for sharing a video of herself posing in a bikini in front of her 13-year-old son.
The fitness guru from Gold Coast, took to Instagram on Saturday with a clip of herself rehearsing for a bodybuilding competition at home when her teenage son walked in the room.
Son Wanted to Dodge Her
In the footage, the mother-of-four was seen smiling widely and flexing her muscles in a red jewel-encrusted bikini.
When her son walked in and attempted to dodge around her, Sophie refused to move and instead continued to hold her pose for the camera, then son started looking intently.
‘POV: Your mama is an IFBB [International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation] Bikini Pro’, Sophie wrote on top of the clip.
‘Son Doesn’t Sexualize My Body’
In her caption, the brunette added: ‘Lol remember when the media tried to shame me for wearing a bikini in front of my son… forgetting I was an IFBB Bikini Pro and I do this as a sport.
‘My son doesn’t sexualise my body so why do others? This, my friends, is 13 years of hard work,’ she boasted.
Fans Won’t Agree With Her
However not all of Sophie’s followers agreed with her attitude, with one commenting: ‘I promise you it’s weird.’
‘The last thing I’d want to see is my mum in a thong, let alone let alone doing it to post on social media saying how I’m ok with it and all my friends see it,’ they added.
Another commented: ”It’s one thing wearing your bikini/ thong on stage during a competition. I think it’s another thing parading/posing in it around your house.
‘You don’t wear a business suit at home on the weekends, right? I just don’t think it’s necessary. But you look great regardless,’ they added.
Sophie’s marriage broke down after her baby was stillborn earlier last year.
