Dakota Johnson showed off her toned figure as she joined her boyfriend Chris Martin on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on Thursday.

Sunning With Her Boyfriend

The actress, 34, looked fantastic in a black bikini as she enjoyed getting some sun with her Coldplay star boyfriend, 46.

Update on Her Latest Project

It comes after her reports her film Madame Web had a disastrous opening weekend, which saw negative reviews from critics, who have declared her latest project one of the worst superhero movies of recent times.

Despite the news that her suspense thriller is officially Sony’s lowest-grossing Spider-Man movie of all time, the actress was enjoying her holiday.

Looking Great And Simple

She looked great in the simple swimwear while frolicking on the sand and completed the summery look with a black cap.

She was topping up her tan and enjoyed a dip before drying off with a bright orange towel.

Casual-looking Chris Was Enjoying The Sand

Meanwhile Chris – who was previously married to Gwyneth Paltrow from 2003 to 2016 – looked casual in a white T-shirt, grey shorts and a blue cap as he sat on the sand beside her lounger.

Dakota’s Madame Web

Dakota’s Madame Web scored one of the lowest superhero box office debuts in recent memory, which has essentially cancelled a possible franchise at the studio.

The film grossed $26.2 million in its first six days since debuting mid-week on Valentine’s Day, through Monday’s President’s Day holiday.

That tally became one of the lowest opening totals for any film based on a Marvel Comics character.

The studio did have plans on starting a new franchise based on Dakota’s title character and three other female characters played by Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced and Celeste O’Connor.

As it is

However, now insiders tell The Hollywood Reporter that, given the atrocious box office receipts, there likely won’t be another Madame Web movie for another decade.

‘We’re not going to see another Madame Web movie for another decade-plus. It failed. Sony tried to make a movie that was a different type of superhero movie,’ an insider told THR.
