Horror as lifeless body is FOUND on motorway in Australia

AUSTRALIA – A man’s lifeless body has been found on a major NSW motorway near the Queensland border. 

The Body is Unidentified

The body was found on the M1 Pacific Motorway near Tweed Valley Way in Chinderah, about 10km south of Coolangatta in Queensland, at around 5.30am on Monday. 

‘The man is yet to be formally identified,’ NSW police said. 

All southbound lanes of the M1 Pacific Motorway have been closed, with motorists told to divert via Tweed Valley Way.

‘Allow extra travel time in the area,’ LiveTraffic NSW said.

Investigation is Ongoing

A forensic team has established crime scene and have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

Police on Monday said the man’s death was the result of a collision between the man and the car.

The Scene

A crashed motorbike was found near the body, but police are still investigating to see if there is a like between the bike and the man. 

However, a NSW Police spokesperson did say a motorbike had been found near the body, but police were still working to see if there was a link between the two.

A report will also be prepared for the coroner.
