MEXICO – A Mexican infant who was kidnapped days after his birth was returned safely to his family in the state of Hidalgo.

The Mexican Secretariat of Public Security said in a series of posts on X that the baby was reunited with his family Saturday, two days after he was taken from his home. The baby, named Abdiel, was three days old when he was taken.
According to reports, authorities said the baby was allegedly taken by Nely Janel Ramírez, a woman hired to be a caregiver. The baby’s mother accused Ramírez of drugging her, authorities said, the outlets reported.

Where she was Found
The baby was found in Valle del Chalco, a city in the state of Mexico inside the country, after a cooperative effort between Hidalgo and Mexico authorities.
‘Collaboration between governments is essential for the well-being of our entities,’ Delfina Gomez, the governor of the State of Mexico, wrote in a post on X.

Source reported that the baby had been abandoned and then found by neighbors.
It is not immediately clear if any arrests have been made or if charges will be filed.
