In a poll conducted by DailyMail.com, it was revealed that the Princess of Wales, Kate, has claimed the title of ‘People’s Princess’ in the United States, boasting a 44 percent approval rating.

Prince William, her spouse, follows closely behind with an approval rating of 36 percent.

The survey, which incorporated the views of 1,000 Americans, indicated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not won the majority of the U.S. public’s favor since their withdrawal from the royal family and subsequent relocation to California. Harry’s approval rating was recorded at 28 percent, while Meghan’s stood at 21 percent.

Public Perception of Royal Family

The poll’s results have emerged amid the global backlash to Omid Scobie’s book ‘Endgame,’ which identified the royals allegedly concerned about the skin color of Harry and Meghan’s son, Archie.

Initially, Scobie denied involvement but has since taken responsibility for including the names in an early copy meant for Dutch translation.

Political Involvement and Public Opinion

Interestingly, the survey uncovered that over a quarter of Americans feel Harry and Meghan have become excessively politically involved in the U.S., with a mere 34 percent deeming their level of involvement as appropriate.

Furthermore, the poll indicated that 42 percent of Americans believe Harry and Meghan should continue residing in the U.S, with 43 percent having a positive view of Harry and 40 percent viewing Meghan positively.

Public Scrutiny and Controversy

Despite their high-profile media deals and philanthropic endeavors, a significant portion of the public questions their credibility and motivations. Additionally, the poll discovered that 27 percent of the Americans believe Meghan is the primary decision-maker in their relationship. The release of Scobie’s book, which has not topped the bestseller charts, has generated controversy, especially after a Dutch version implicated Kate and King Charles in the skin color comments.

Harry and Meghan have previously clarified that Queen Elizabeth II or Prince Philip were not the individuals concerned but have refrained from naming anyone else until Scobie’s publication.
