A fitness guru who lost 50 pounds has revealed how to reduce lower belly bloat after overeating on Thanksgiving — without stressing about your holiday calorie consumption.

Weight loss tips

Steph Heintz, 36, from New York, has more than 579,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares weight loss tips and raises awareness for orofacial clefts after being born with a cleft palate and lip.

The digital creator, who uses the handle @stepheintz, recently detailed her four-step approach for debloating and returning to healthy habits after an indulgent meal.

‘You wake up, you feel bloated, you feel disgusting, don’t worry. I got you,’ she began her nearly minute-long video.

Heintz explained that the first thing you should do is ‘start your morning with breath work because it boosts your immune system and also has an anti-inflammatory effect.’

Heitz weighed roughly 167 pounds and fluctuated between a size 8 and a size 12 (pictured) before losing 50 pounds and transforming her body

She said another added benefit of mindful breathing is that it ‘will help you realize that you do not need to panic’ about how much you ate.

‘It was just one day. You are fine,’ she assured viewers.

Heintz then advised making yourself a cup of dandelion root tea, saying it is ‘amazing for detoxing the body and letting go of impurities.’

Dandelion root tea can aid bloating because it acts as a diuretic and increases urine input, according to Healthline.

‘If there is ever a day to do it, it’s the day after Thanksgiving,’ Heintz said.

The fitness fanatic’s next tip was to sweat it out with a cardio workout that will make you feel ‘proud of yourself’ and ‘release the guilt.’

‘Feel glad you ate that pie, but if you hit a hard workout the next day you really will feel awesome,’ she explained.

‘Come back from our workout and chew on some fennel seeds,’ she added.

‘I’m not sure how many people know about this, but this is a great way to keep your appetite [in check] and also debloat your stomach.’
