Jared Leto has broken his silence about the Australian man who sent him a package containing human excrement.

The actor-turned-singer, 51, appeared on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday to promote his band 30 Seconds to Mars’ new album when host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, 48, brought up the bizarre story.

‘A man in Australia got arrested because he sent you and Leonardo DiCaprio a package with his urine and faeces in it. Did that ever get to you? Did you hear about that?’ she asked as co-host Kyle laughed.

‘No thank God. Jesus Christ!’ the Hollywood star responded in disbelief, before asking whether the culprit was Australian.

‘He is, but he’s from Broome. He’s over the other side and up the top, no one goes there,’ replied Kyle.

‘We’re going to have to keep him over there,’ the Suicide Squad actor said, before making a suggestion to the poo-poster.

‘Sounds like the guy needs a hobby. Or maybe he has one and he’s taken it a little too far.’
