Kanye West and ‘wife’ Bianca Censori have become a laughing stock in Italy following their latest bizarre display on Wednesday.
Censori, who has worn a slew of eccentric outfits during the couple’s Italian getaway, was spotted walking the streets of Florence almost topless while holding a purple cushion over her chest to cover up her breasts.
West, 46, meanwhile strolled beside the Australian architect, 28, in an all-black ensemble including a strange shawl and sock-like slippers.
In a humiliating twist, photos of have emerged of onlookers laughing at the pair behind their back as they made their way down the cobblestone footpath.
Online critics have also mocked West and Censori for attempting to look edgy, yet failing so spectacularly.
‘Everyone laughing at her lol. Girl, what the hell are you thinking? Even if this is just a publicity stunt the joke is on you!’ one commented.
‘People are laughing at them. And not as in, ‘Wow, look it’s Kanye’. It’s, ‘Wow, these people are in our beautiful country and think they’re really something”, another agreed.
‘They think they’re being so avant-garde but the world is laughing at them,’ someone else added.
Italian residents have also poked fun at the Censori and West’s latest antics online.
‘They are an embarrassment to our country. If it is for publicity, they are mistaken because all this behaviour does is disgust decent people,’ someone wrote.
Censori was first seen holding the pillow over her chest early on Wednesday morning as she and West made their way out of their hotel in Florence.
A local photographer later revealed the pair enjoyed a shopping trip at designer brand Marni, while she continued to sport the wild ensemble.
