A naked intruder – wearing only a hat and sneakers – broke into a home in Houston and committed a ‘lewd act’ while standing over the bed of a couple who were sleeping.
The man was captured on surveillance video entering a person’s home in the early morning hours of Friday.
Houston police told ABC13 that physical evidence was left behind after the crude act.
A woman, whose name was not disclosed, told the news outlet that she woke up around 3:20am and found a strange man standing over her bed with no clothes on.
When she woke up her boyfriend, she said, he chased the intruder out of their house and onto the greenbelt.
Police were able to recover DNA evidence.

Commander Adrian Rodriguez of the Houston Police Department’s Kingwood Division told the news outlet, ‘If this evidence comes back that we’ve submitted, I think we’ll have a good lead on the person we’re looking for.’
An hour earlier, a neighbor’s security camera captured the man trying to break into other homes on the block.
In one clip, he was seen rubbing his genitals on a car.
Officials urged residents to lock their doors and windows and asked its residents to submit any videos they may have of the naked intruder.
Residents in the Hunters Ridge neighborhood were on edge and eager to find the man, as per the news outlet.
Greg Dunson who lives a few blocks away from where the naked intruder struck said, ‘We don’t know where he’s at, if he’s caught. Where did he go?, Dunson told the news outlet.
‘He’s naked. Is he sleeping in the woods? We don’t know.’
As of Thursday afternoon, the Houston Police Department Kingwood Division was still actively pursuing the suspect.
