It’s not the first time Kim has drawn attention for his style. In February last year, he was pictured wearing his nicest winter coat and a pair of cool sunglasses to watch a bunch of explosions go off in a desolate plot of land.
And the following month, he drew comparisons to Tom Cruise in Top Gun when he put on a shiny leather jacket with furry collar to tour the Sohae Satellite Launching Ground.
The despot has recently been in the headlines for his increasing cosiness with Russia, as Vladimir Putin continues to be isolated by much of the world for his war in Ukraine.

Kim has repeatedly accused the two powers of preparing to launch an invasion, and several powerful missiles have been launched from North Korea in response.
On a visit to a facility producing large-calibre artillery systems, he stressed the factory’s ‘important responsibilities and tasks in perfecting (the North’s) war readiness’, the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said.
He praised their efforts to use ‘scientific and technological measures’ in production, and encouraged the rapid expansion of cruise missile and drone engine construction at a separate site.
The dictator was even pictured firing at least two different scoped rifles from a table at a small arms factory.
