Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are very “happy together” according to one family friend. Karl Larsen is a photographer and friend of Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle.
He recently took to Instagram to share some photographs of the royal couple. In the caption, Larsen wrote: “So nice to see my friends Harry and Meghan on Friday before they got away for the long weekend.”
He added: “They are very much in love, and are happy together nothing but smiles and laughter here.”
Meghan and Harry have been married for over five years after becoming one of the most famous couples in the world after marrying at Windsor Castle. The royal couple met on a blind date at Soho House, London in July 2018 almost seven years ago.
Meghan has described her relationship with Harry as “two people who are really happy and in love.” Before the Duchess married into the Royal Family, she explained what it is like to date a Prince and be in the media spotlight in 2017.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Meghan said: “We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news…the only thing that changed was people’s perceptions. Nothing about me changed. I’m still the same person I am, and I’ve never defined myself by my relationship.”
Meghan also spoke out about the challenges the couple face. She added: “We’re in love. I’m sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time. This is for us.
“It’s part of what makes it so special, that it’s just ours. But we’re happy. Personally, I love a great love story.”
However, it has been speculated that the Duchess plans to return to acting.
A source has told Bella magazine that Meghan has recently signed with the Hollywood talent agency William Morris Endeavour and that the new career choice “is about making Meghan a power player in Hollywood.”
It has also been reported that Meghan may star in a sequel to the 1992 classic film The Bodyguard after leading actor Kevin Costner expressed interest in creating the movie.
According to New Idea Magazine, one insider said: “The only thing Kevin loves more than an underdog like Meghan is a box office hit.”
