Royal expert Neil Sean claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, as well as other members of the Royal Family, have been told to look more closely at Prince William and Kate.
While speaking on his Youtube channel, Mr Sean said, William and Kate have become very good at being relatable and popular with the public.
He added that a source has confirmed to him that Meghan and Harry are considering “stealing” this model of interacting with the public from William and Kate.
Mr Sean said: “It is interesting to note that Kate and William they have become incredibly relatable. More recently we saw a story that said they went to their local pub for burgers and chips with their children.
“Following on from this relatable press and so much more of late, it is interesting to note exactly why senior members and ex-members of the British Royal Family have been told to look at the model that Kate and William are following.”
The Royal expert went on to say he spoke with a source that indicated Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be looking at Kate and William on how to improve their image.
He continued: “According to a very good source out in LA, following the success of the New York trip for Harry and Meghan, they have been looking closely at what makes Kate and William so successful and relatable over here. They have been wondering whether they should basically take that template.
“I also find it interesting when you pay these PR people thousands and thousands of pounds they just look at someone else’s work and then steal it and then tell you this is what you should be doing.”
The royal expert then reflected on the possible reasons Meghan and Harry’s New York trip may not have been as relatable to fans.
He said: “Truthfully, this is what is happening, Meghan and Harry have been told you have to get out there, meet the public and connect a little more and see what the public wants from you.
“If you think about the recent New York trip, they came in a burst of flames. They popped outside their hotel, went to the 9/11 memorial, turned up at the Global Citizen bash, and then disappeared.
“They expect their fan base to be there when they pop up. But the digital world in which they live simply doesn’t work like that, you have to work hard to keep the momentum going.
“More importantly you have to be relatable and connectable. Moving forward, we could see the reactivation of all levels of social media from Meghan and Harry so they stay at the forefront of celebrity publicity.”
