A landlord has stirred mixed reactions online after a video of him unleashing a dog on his tenant over an outstanding debt of N45,000 went viral.
Eyewitnesses claimed that the incident occurred after the tenant politely enquired why he was locked out for over 2 hours.
As the argument escalated, it was revealed that the landlord, known for his harsh demeanor in the neighborhood, menacingly threatened to set his dog loose on the tenant.
The landlord carried out his threat after the tenant dared him and also disclosed that he’s been bitten by the dog before.
It took the intervention of other neighbors to quell the situation and also ensure the dog was returned to its cage.
The identity of the landlord and tenant involved in the incident has not been revealed, and it is unclear whether any legal action will be taken against the landlord.
