A balding man got fringe tattooed on his forehead so it looks like he has hair, but he didn’t seem pleased with the result.
Gianluca, 26, from Italy, decided to visit his local tattoo parlour to see if they could help provide a solution for his thinned-out hairline.
He finally managed to persuade a tattoo artist to agree to his idea of tattooing fake hair onto his head but when he looked at himself in the mirror, he was left speechless.
Italian tattoo artist Maria Gina Altobelli, 30, who owns and works Gipsy.g Tattoo & Piercing in Fondi, Italy, recorded the process of tattooing Gianluca’s head with the fringe design.
She explained that when Gianluca requested the tattoo she was shocked and unsure whether it was a good idea, but eventually decided to complete the job.
In the video, which was posted on TikTok, shows Maria using a stencil to add the black fringe onto Gianluca’s forehead.
After wiping his forehead clean, she leads Gianluca to the mirror so he can see his new look for the very first time.
After seeing his reflection in the mirror, Gianluca cries – it’s not clear whether it’s from happiness or not.
Maria said: ‘Obviously, I was sceptical when he asked me for that tattoo, but in the end, I’m very happy with the work.
‘It took us an hour to do it because I’ve been tattooing for six years now, so I’m very fast.
‘I didn’t expect all this virality of the video.’
The video has since gone viral on TikTok, with many social media viewers left in hysterics by the unusual solution to the problem.
One person commented: ‘I hope this is a joke!’
A second joked: ‘He’s crying because he knew he had made a horrible mistake.’
‘The instant regret when he looked in the mirror,’ commented another, while some else remarked: ‘He’s going home to google laser tattoo removals.’
