Lindsay Lohan, 36, and her husband, Bader Shammas, 36, tied the knot in April last year, keeping their union a secret from the public until July when the actress casually let slip on Instagram calling him her ‘husband’.
The pair now seem to be keeping their baby-related celebrations under wraps as well, however, they did not account for Lindsay’s dad, Michael Lohan, 62.
On Wednesday, Michael shared a sweet photo with his 2,500 Instagram followers as he enjoyed dinner with his expecting daughter.
Not only did Michael’s post reveal that Lindsay and Bader made the long trek from their home in Dubai to New York to celebrate their growing family, but he also shared precisely what went down at the very private baby shower.
The doting dad wrote in the caption: ‘Family time with Mommy To Be.
‘Since the press always gets it wrong, let’s get this straight! Lindsay and Bader asked ME to have dinner with THEM! I thought it would be great if we ALL got together to see her before she had the baby! SO I invited the whole family!’ (sic)
This was Lindsay’s first reunion with her entire family in seven years, as she cheerily smiled between her dad and her sister.
The ‘clique’ included Linday’s divorced parents, Michael and Dina, 60, and her siblings Michael Jr, 35, Aliana, 29, and Cody, 26.
