Blac Chyna, the former Rob Kardashian flame, has spoken out about rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was beaten at an LA Fitness gym in Florida.
According to the 34-year-old model, the attack on the controversial artist, whose legal name is Daniel Hernandez, ‘it doesn’t come as a surprise’ given his past behavior.
Chyna, whose real name is Angela Renée White, says the internet and social media have changed Tekashi, who she describes as a ‘genuinely nice guy’ in person.
‘It made me really sad because Danny is really a nice guy. He’s a really genuinely nice guy,’ the model, whose real name is Angela Renée White, told DailyMail.
‘I just feel like social media changes people. In person, he is the sweetest person. So I just blame the internet and people bullying him because at the end of the day that’s still bullying and I don’t condone violence like at all.
‘It doesn’t come as a surprise. But I just don’t wish that on nobody, not even him.’
However, Chyna believes that the rapper needs to ‘come over here when he’s ready and feels it in his heart to sincerely go and apologize to the people that he hurt.’
The mother-of-two also urges the rapper to ‘walk in a different light’ and avoid violent confrontations.
The beating took place on Tuesday, and footage of the attack shows Tekashi being ‘beaten to a pulp’ by a group of men who later posted about the assault on social media.
Tekashi, who was labeled a ‘snitch’ after testifying for prosecutors against the Bloods gang and Cardi B in 2018, had faced a 47-year minimum sentence and maximum of life in prison on charges including racketeering, firearm possession, armed robbery, and attempted murder.
The rapper cut a deal with prosecutors, leading to a two-year prison sentence.
It is currently unknown what prompted the recent attack on Tekashi, but it’s clear that the rapper is not short of enemies.
Despite the controversy surrounding him, Blac Chyna believes that everyone should ‘forgive and forget’ and ‘just stay safe.’
