A new book parodying Prince Harry’s memoir Spare is set to hit the shelves on April Fool’s Day – “frostbite and all”.
Promising to go “deep inside the castle walls”, the new publication mocks the Duke of Sussex’s recently released novel. Titled Spare Us! A Harrody, its front cover features the prince’s face but with tape over his mouth.
Among the revelations includes when Harry detailed his painful experience with frostbite — which he said affected his ears, cheeks and ‘todger’ — following a 200-mile Arctic charity walk.
The spoof biography also mocks Harry’s decision to tell all about his life in his own book while, at the same time, seeking privacy.
A release by publishers Hachette reads: “He was born into an ancient, powerful dynasty and, through no fault of his own, became one of the most recognizable men on the planet.cHis life was a constant barrage of press intrusion and manipulation until, finally, he demanded that it stop.
“In order to get the privacy, he so craved, he has written a frostbite-and-all book that goes deep inside the castle walls and exposes every shouting match, a fist-fight, betrayal, teddy bear, awkward hug and tear-stained wedding rehearsal for the world to feast their eyes on.
“All for privacy! This is his story.”
The publisher was also behind parody versions of Enid Blyton’s books.
