Laila Charani, the estranged Moroccan wife of Nigerian politician Ned Woko, has returned to Instagram after a four-month break.
The mother of three returned to the social media platform on Sunday to celebrate her 32nd birthday.
“Happy birthday to me,” she wrote along with two photos of her in a one-shoulder black dress.
Ned, however, sharing his estranged wife’s photo, wrote; “My dear Laila. As you know, I believe that we should celebrate life every day. As we wake up, we should be grateful to God for his mercies.
“I thank God for your life and wish you the very best today and always. On behalf of the family, I say welcome to a new age. We love you. @Mnslailacharani.”
Before now, she described their 10 years of marriage as the worst of her life.
Things took a dramatic turn in September 2022 when she publicly apologized to Nwoko and his family.
she wrote in an Instagram post on September 3, 2022: “This is to the entire Ned Nwoko family. I have realized that I made mistakes. They were not intentional.
“I listened too much to outsiders and I have decided to apologize to my husband and members of the family. I want peace and progress in the family.”
