King Charles Attends Sandringham Church Service With Princess Anne

King Charles and Princess Anne appeared in high spirits as they stepped out to attend the traditional Sunday morning service.

Brother and sister are spending their Sunday together in Sandringham and were photographed walking the short distance between the royal residence in Norfolk and St Mary Magdalene Church.

The pair smiled at royal fans they encountered on their way to the chapel, and King Charles even seemed to crack a joke with some of the onlookers while passing by.

Neither Queen Camilla, Charles’s wife, nor Sir Timothy Laurence, Anne’s husband, seemed to have joined the two royals for their walk.

Following the service, Charles was given a bouquet of flowers by a well-wisher and stopped to speak with some of the fans.

Lady Susan Hussey also joined the King and the Princess Royal at the church service in Sandringham, two months after resigning in a racism row.

The 83-year-old was pictured smiling after attending St Mary Magdalene Church on the royal family’s Norfolk estate on Sunday.
