A pensioner was brutally bundled off a bus in Russia for criticising Vladimir Putin’s corrupt and failing army in Ukraine, according to Daily Mail

On a bus ride in Moscow suburb Dolgoprudny she mocked Russia under Putin, telling fellow passengers: ‘This is our empire! Empire?

”An empire propped up on stools.’

She hit out at notorious corruption which has seen funds for modernisation of weaponry go into the pockets of bent commanders.

Another female passenger suggests she must be biased in favour of Ukraine having lived there.

But she denies this, saying: ‘I’ve been there only twice in my life when I was young…’I don’t know anyone there.’

The pensioner was urged: ‘It’s not too bad, so you go there and help…?’

But as she claimed the Russian army is corrupt and is leaving men fighting in rubber boots, a male passenger approached her and dragged her from her seat.

As she claimed the Russian army is corrupt and is leaving men fighting in rubber boots, a male passenger approached her and dragged her from her seat.

No one else intervened to help her as she was pushed to the floor and eventually off the bus as she was seen on video sprawled on the floor of the bus doorway.

A report described the incident: ‘In Moscow region, a pensioner who doubted the ‘greatness of Russia’ was dragged out of a bus by force.

‘It is clear that no one stood up for her.’

‘This is the whole country is in miniature.’

The incident led to a wave of comments on the web, many supporting the pensioner.

Timoshina posted: ‘What a…..nightmare.’And no single b****** stood up for the old lady. Well done, granny.’

Gebo said: ‘A country that treats their elderly like this is doomed to be destroyed.’

Another comment read: ‘Why is he fighting the granny so fiercely? Let him fight ‘Nazis’ [in Ukraine].’
