Sometime in 2018, the then-president of the United States, Donald Trump, visited Britain and met with the Queen Elizabeth. His visit to the United Kingdom caused a stir, as he caused a breach of protocol by walking in front of the Queen, thereby causing her to step around him.
Nonetheless, the visit of Donald Trump was a memorable one for all parties involved as Trump spoke of the Queen in a positive manner. He in fact stated, in an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, that he had developed a bond with the Queen and she had been very taken with him.
He further said that he talked for long with the Queen to the point that he did not know the other people present at the table. Donald Trump made the trip to the UK with his wife Melania and their four adult children.
They were warmly received by the Queen and by all of the Royal family, where Mr. Trump was feted at a lavish dinner at the famous Buckingham Palace where he was reportedly seated to the right side of the Queen at the table.
It is safe to say that the trip Mr. Donald Trump made with his family to England was a fruitful one with no regrets.
