The former duke of Windsor, the late Prince Phillip reportedly left behind his carriage and ponies to his granddaughter, Lady Louise who shared his love for ponies and carriage driving.
It was reported that the carriage filled with prized possessions during his funeral, will be passed to 17 years old Lady Louise, his grandaughter.
The late Prince Phillip began carriage driving in the 1970s, after he switched from playing polo. He has been known to be the one who brought carriage driving to the UK as he was married to the late Queen for more that 70 years.He proceeded to teach this sport to his granddaughter Lady Louise and her mother as well.
Furthermore, the two black ponies formerly belonging to the late prince, will now pass to Lady Louise, as she will have to exercise them regularly. The ponies are called Balmoral Nevis and Notlaw Storm.
Additionally, the ponies were already spotted during the funeral of the late Prince Phillip, as they pulled the custom-made four-wheeled carriage as the procession was watched worldwide and by millions on TV.
